Angela Mead, M.S.W., is currently employed as a Deputy Division Manager with Larimer County Department of Human Services. She has worked in Child Welfare for 34 years as a caseworker, supervisor, and administrator acquiring experience in child protection, juvenile justice, family preservation programs, short-term residential care for adolescents, program development, and implementation. She has extensive experience in the area of child welfare course development and training. In addition, she has been actively involved in serving on various community boards and assisting in the development of many programs to benefit families of Larimer County. Conducted numerous speaking engagements on child abuse and neglect, child death investigations, mandated reporting, differential response, juvenile justice, and working with drug-endangered children. She has presented at numerous National Conferences on Child Abuse & Neglect, Differential Response in Child Welfare, Restorative Justice, and medical conferences on Perinatal Substance Abuse. She is published: "The Methamphetamine Crisis – Strategies to Save Addicts, Families and Communities."
