The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program Grant enables the CSU School of Social Work to award a $10,000 field education stipend to concentration year or advanced standing MSW students focused on clinical work addressing the behavioral health needs of rural and underserved populations, with particular attention to addressing the needs of multi-cultural and multi-lingual clients and communities.
The Child Welfare Stipend Program at Colorado State University in the School of Social Work is funded through Title IV-E of the Social Security Act, and provides MSW students between $8,000-$10,000 for field education serving families using public child welfare services.
This additional cost should be considered when applying for financial aid.
